    A one on one, 60 minute video call to answer your specific design questions, help resolve design dilemmas (or partner disagreements!) or simply helping to choose your finishing touches, such as sofa or artwork.

    My consultation calls are also useful for those looking to better understand the interior design process ahead of booking The Guide or Concierge service.

    For larger projects or multiple rooms, a two- or three-hour consultation may be recommended.

    The Concierge

    Our concierge service will take you from design concept, to a professionally styled, completed space. In addition to creating the room scheme and providing visual renders of the proposed design for your approval, I will work closely with you as your project co-ordinator. This involves liaising with trades, managing lead times, taking the heavy lifting off of your shoulders.


    On site visits are part of our Concierge service, to ensure the design implementation meets your high standards, all furniture, fixtures & accessories sourcing and the option to have the completed space professionally photographed / filmed (e.g. for lettings, Airbnbs and Holiday homes).

Discuss your next project

Our Process

We are a boutique interior design studio and the following is an overview of our process, however, depending on the scale of your project, your timeline and budget, this may be tailored to better suit your needs.

  • We have an initial phone call, followed by a visit to your property.
    Through this we are able to discuss your project scope, understand your initial brief and introduce our Studio to you.
    Following this, we will send a formal proposal & project estimate to you.

  • Following your acceptance of the estimate, we return for a more detailed conversation, once again at your property and often over a coffee!
    During this meeting we capture as much about you, your property, lifestyle, aspirations, preferences, priorities, likes and dislikes. This extends to everyone who lives in the home or uses the property.
    Importantly, floorplans and flow are also covered, as our design work goes hand in hand with any structural changes.
    Finally we will cover timelines, budgets and any additional factors guiding your project. This discussion sets the framework for the rest of the design process.

  • Our first step is often to review the layout of the property or room(s) that are within your project scope.
    This enables us to identify if there are any structural related changes to be considered and taken into account before the design concept.

  • The foundation of the design scheme for your property.
    This includes the general look and feel of the room (s) / spaces within your project scope.
    Built from the aesthetic preferences discussed in our briefing, we established the overarching colours, textures, pattern and style. This will serve as a guide for the more formal design scheme. it can be presented physically or digitally.

  • Here we produce a 2D drawing, outline the placement of key furniture, considering traffic flow. From here we can create an appropriate lighting plan, aligned to the furniture plan and how the room will be used.

  • This is when the detailed design scheme is created. We will incorporate your feedback from the previous stages. This will include full physical moodboards, schedules and specifications.

  • We offer procurement of all the furniture, fittings and equipment needed to bring the scheme to life. This is detailed on a schedule , or alternatively we can provide a digital shoppable list for you to implement yourself.

  • If required, we can conduct regular site visits, acting as the link between your contract, trades, architect and you. This helps for a more seamless delivery of the design and saves you the time and challenge of answering design related questions in the spur of the moment.

  • Once your property / room is complete, we can oversee the positioning and styling of all accessories and artwork.
    We also offer a professional photography and film service if required (e.g. for property sale, let or holiday rental marketing).

FAQs

  • We’ll start with with a call to discuss your project. During this we’ll cover key questions that give will give me a feel for your aspirations for the project, and your approximate budget. This helps us to determine if I am the right designer for you.

    Following this, I will send you a more detailed Q&A form. This will allow you to outline how the space will be used, who by and your taste regarding colours and finishes.

    From here, depending on the service you have chosen, we’ll arrange a site visit. This will allow me to see the space and take essential survey photos and measurements. From this point I can begin the initial drawings and concepts.

    Each project varies by size, scope and timeline. This will be agreed on commencement of our work together and before work begins a schedule will be set out for key delivery dates.


  • That’s no problem. During our initial call to discuss your project, I will talk you through the process for our Guide and Concierge service options, how they work and what you will receive with each.

    Working with an Interior Designer doesn’t just mean you gain visuals of your final scheme before it is complete, or advice on paint and finishes, but you gain design knowledge, advice on how to ensure your room(s) work for you both now and into the future.

  • Currently we serve the South of the UK, Dorset, Wiltshire and Hampshire. This is to ensure that we can travel to the site of your project for site visits before and during, as well as to style and shoot it once complete (depending on the service you have chosen).

  • Ever felt overwhelmed by the prospect of redecoration? Looked at the cost of paint / furniture or textiles and been reluctant to spend without being sure (or spent and regretted it)?
    Well that’s what working with an Interior Designer helps to eliminate, saving you both time and money and giving you a result that goes beyond your expectations.

    Our services begin with a one-off, one hour consultation call, which is £75.00. Therefore, if you just want to allay some concerns or have a few questions answered, we can support even the most modest budget.

  • Like many trades and services - this varies! At SET, we price based on the size and scope of the project and strive to always align our services to give you the best return for your budget.

    After briefing, we will share a proposal which will include an estimate of our fees based on the services you require.

  • We would interpret ‘full design’ as end to end concierge service, incorporating sourcing, installation and project co-ordination. Not every brief requires this, and that is why we offer a DIY service.

  • Yes, we can work with your builder, but always advise that it is best to get in specialist trades if elements of the design scheme implementatiom requires it, in order to deliver the finish and specification you require.

  • Absolutely! We have done this for many of our clients. We often find that clients find this a useful starting point when they haven’t worked with an Interior Designer before. Additional rooms or floors can be added to the scope during the project if so desired. A separate proposal and estimate will be sent out for this as necessary.
